Moldova is Ukraine’s weakest neighbor. It is one of the poorest countries in Europe, but has the highest rate of Ukrainian refugees in terms of population. Many with war injuries. The civil protection and medical services are completely overloaded.
Help had to be quick.
Alpha Aid equipped two ambulances from Germany with the latest respirators, ECG and defibrillators, as well as all smaller med. equipment parts and drove them directly to Moldova.
On site, we handed over the top-equipped emergency vehicles to the paramedics and instructed them in the technology of the vehicles.
Already on the same day they were staffed with teams and driven to their missions.
